Spectrum Dance Events

Spectrum International Artists, after 20 years at the forefront of competitive dancing in Ireland, has now become a household name throughout the World. We have (over the years) had some of the biggest names in dance through our doors, and we have established a big name in the world of dance, and of dancing competitions.

Unlike other promoters, Tommy Egan represented Ireland in the World Freestyle Dance Championships where he made the last 10 finalists ! Upon retiring from dancing himself Tommy made the decision to devote his life to improving the standard of competiitons here in Ireland… and to ensuring that Irish dancers get the best possible grounding for the European and World stage in the dancing circuit.

At Spectrum we are very proud that our events are classed as “serious” dance competitions, attracting sell-out crowds in both Freestyle and in Hip-Hop. We have developed the dance-sport to the highest of standards, and we now also pick the teams to represent Ireland at the I.D.O. World and European events. Spectrum are delighted to be the Irish representatives for the I.D.O. one of the biggest World-wide competitive-dance organisations, giving the opportunity to Irish dancers to express their natural talents on the international stage.

After many years of hard work Spectrum are today the leading dance-competitions promotion company in Ireland.

We have for over 15 years been running the All-Ireland Freestyle Championships and the All-Ireland Hip-Hop Championships

A very big thank-you of course to my business partners Mr David O’ Grady and Mr Thomas Gately who put so much time, effort and dedication into the dance-sport and for the big part they play in the driving-force that is Spectrum. Without Dave and Thomas much of what Spectrum have now achieved would never have been possible.

Looking forward to many more years of fun and friendship in an ever-improving, and ever-growing Irish dancing family.
